Change of pace

At the doctors appointment on Wednesday, we were asked if we drove or flew. We told him we drove, he said, "good go home for the weekend, but be back on Tuesday (our next appointment)"

So we surprised the kids and came home. 

It started by us sending this picture of Hyrum and telling the kids he has a secret to share with them tomorrow.

Hyrum helped us pack...or more...I packed as fast as I could to stay on top of his packing. He wanted to leave right after his flush. We convinced him to let us sleep a few hours first. 

So 3:30 am, we left for home 

 

We started to send text's to Rachel to let at least someone know we were coming. Especially since she was sick the week prior, and we wanted the house clean before Hyrum got there.

By this time Rachel had started to get the hint of what Hyrum's secret was.

When asked who he wanted to see first, it was "Karl"

I'm not sure that Hyrum could get enough of his big brother.

 

Rachel finally made her way to Grandma's house to see Hyrum. 

Karl only came home one night...
