Hyrum
Hyrum has a cold. We got to church and he was sniffling and coughing. I realized that I had forgotten to give him some sudafed before we left. All I had in my purse were pills no liquid. So I thought. The pills are pretty small. Maybe he can swallow one. So I asked him if he would be willing to try to swallow the pill. He agreed so I gave him the pill and my water bottle. Down went the pill easy as can be. I was amazed. So after church I started giving him pills instead of the liquid, including ibuprofen. All went down easy.

Rachel went to Prom
The best part about making a nice dress for a cost conscious kid is you get a 2 for 1 deal out of it. 1 Dress, 2 Dances! This round, she did make me buy the guy his tie because the last one didn't match her dress! We did invite Aunt Jana to come help with hair this round to give it a better flair.
Afterwards she didn't want to loose the tie, so she kept it will her as she anxiously awaited the arrival of her group.
Lots of pretty pictures later, and they were off for a night of dancing!

Lower Level Bathroom
Lower Level Bathroom Was horrible. The design was bad. So of course we fixed it. Made everything more functional. So here is the story...They used Linoleum Squares that were chipping (of course)
This was built to protect the plumbing for the sink. The shelf that the bowl is sitting on is the exterior wall were the washer and dryer were. They had the shelves that were falling apart above the washer and dryer.
Under the sink...not too bad. But the cabinet it self was not good.
The Toilet was next to the washer and dryer.
And the shower was non functional and had issues....inside and out.
The ceiling was open, and you could tell that they had plumbing issues...
So, of course, we had to dismantle this room also...and found lots more of our favorite thing....mold...
Rachel was a great help in taking apart the shower...
Were we continued to find even more mold...
My dad and brother helped me move the door way...and John helped with the plumbing...
And then we sheet rocked, tiled...
And then we put the toys back into a better spot.
After having the boys pee all over the place, I decided we needed to add tile to the back splash. This was after tile and before I wiped off the grout!
