I call this room the Family Room turned Boys Room and Storage Room. I didn't need the room as a family room, but did need an extra bedroom and a storage room...so this is what we got!
This was for our sump pump as we are at or slightly below high water table.
This is how close our water heater is to our electrical box. The pipe was leaking onto the electrical box. We now have new piping and electrical box.
And single light for family room.
So we cut the room in half. These guys are helping with wiring. The one is my brother and the other two my nephews. You can see the wall my mom and I built with a little help from my brother in the background.
ironically I have no other pictures of the project, except for a piece of sheet rock, that I hung myself as I'm getting ready to close in the bedroom.
Before we did the floor, we used the rooms to paint the doors.
And then the final product: The boys side of the room
And the Storage room side of the room with my shelves up!

Bedrooms
UPPER BEDROOMS AND LOWER BEDROOM
I posted these together because they didn't get more of a make over than pain, and floor.
One things, they were total TV aholics. This was what was left from this rooms TV.
And this is what was left from this rooms TV
We had issues with door molding and doors that just didn't shut...
And did I mention Holes in the walls:
And then the lights....
As for this room, whoever thought wallpaper is cool, should have to remove a roomful of it first.
So here is the finished products. I did replace the lights also, just don't have the video's going yet.
And the next room:
And the last room:

And the next room:
Upstairs Bathroom
UPSTAIRS BATHROOM
Problems:
Mold around bath tub.
Mold behind Toilet
Leaky pipes in the bathtub.
Cabinets that were very old and falling apart
You can't really see it, but the whole bottom of the cabinet is wrinkled from water damage.
So of course, we had to rip it all out. We just didn't realize how much ripping out we would be doing... Out came the cabinet.
We found dead mice in the wall behind the toilet.
And after peeling away a few tiles from around the tub, realized that the water damage and softened up and disintegrated the sheet rock...
I had reached my hand up on the sheet rock to pull tile away from another wall...and my hand went through the wall....
Found great hiding spots to laugh over!
And then another brother came over to help remove the tub!
And I got great pictures, that he put himself into...and had a hard time getting out of!
So we brought over the muscles of the group...my 15 year old nephew to help move it out of the room.
The finished product of ripping out the bathroom and mold was found (obviously).
We had to replace the outside wall all the way to the siding...
And then the fun begins as we start to put things back together...
