New Roof
Finishing the roof today. We have been redoing it in sections over the
past year. Today is the front half over our front room. Hyrums says: you
mean we will have a new window over the piano? You said we are taking
the roof off. So we will clarify. We are taking the shingles off our
roof today. Nothing more.

Fields
I've
been informed that I need many fields. One for a pool, one for a
playground, one for a golf course track and one for a water slide that
will be named rough muffin(because muffins can roll)
Water anyone?
His "jug" of water. He thinks he needs to drink it all!

Traveling to and from school
On the way to school today, I learned that Because the world turns
really fast, Hyrum's flush takes up half the night. And that he sleeps
the other half. I said, your flush only takes 45 min. He says I know
that's why I get off at midnight. Funny kid. No wonder I'm really tired,
I'm only getting 45 min of sleep a night by the time I put him to bed!
Questions on the way home: what did you learn? Nothing. What did you do? Made a new friend. How was school? Good. I didn't get hit in the stomach again. I made an airplane. But Mrs Rae made me put it away right before the last step.

Hyrum's Smile
I just wanted to tell you how sweet Hyrum is. He makes me laugh! He told me today that his sister taught him how to smile. He is always a good friend and in a good mood. He works so hard and is so kind! We all love him!
Also, I bought Hyrum a train whistle. I saw it and knew he had to have it. It is in his backpack.

Show and Tell
Hyrum just cracks me up. For show and tell yesterday, he stood up and said "for show and tell, I wore my most precious shirt." Then he talked for about 5 straight minutes how cool his shirt (a plain off white long sleeves shirt) was. He makes me laugh.
