South Dakota Trip

My nephew Jacob was having a surgery on his mouth and his mother had girls camp.  So my mom and I took the kids and went to baby-sit Reddeck so that Jonathan could stay in the hospital with Jacob.  The kids all had a lot of fun!

This was at one of the rest stops along the way....

 Karl
 Rachel

This was in Sioux Falls ( I think) most of the pictures where taken by the girls, but they were so pretty I left most of them.

 Sarah, Rachel, Grandma JoAnne Burrell
in strollers are Karl and Reddeck

Karl wasn't too excited about the stroller, but did it to "help Reddeck" stay in his stroller

This was a monument about the Submarine named after (I think) one of the towns up that way

This was a play house at the hospital.  The kids loved to play on it, so we took pictures to make our own...which we never have done.

Memorial Weekend

We went to Yellowstone for the day, and then on over to Julie's place.  The kids had so much fun at Yellowstone.  Of the 190 pictures, I choose these for the quality and faces.  Ironically the kids took most of them.

Karl was mostly pretty good about staying on his leash. As long as I held it.

 Snow still on the ground!

This particular one was after a fire and how the growth was coming back.
From there we went to Julie's house....Where the kids got to ride on the horses..

Elena and Karl with Ammon leading the way on foot

This was the first time that we realized that Karl is allergic to Mosquito bites.

He got bit the day before at Yellowstone, at first I thought that he had fallen, but the next morning he looked like a face straight out of Star Track!  Benedryl fixed up pretty quick!

It was the first time we had taken our kids to see Julie.  She was actually expecting her twin girls at the time, so it was nice to visit with her, but also to help her get some much needed rest before the baby's came a few weeks later.
