Visit from Burrells

Grandma & Grandpa Burrell came to visit and we got a pleasant surprise of Jill (David's wife) and their 4 kids!

 And of course, the best part was the exhaustion that happened afterwards!  Of course, not much wore Karl out!

Playing in the Rain

The kid loved the rain.  It was SO warm...How could you resist.  They started out wearing oversize garbage bags and using umbrella's to keep dry...

 But pretty soon, the umbrella's fell by the way side....

 And then the garbage bags went away as they were soaking went anyways!

Karl's Tomato

The story behind these pictures is quite funny.  John's parents came to visit and brought with them the biggest Tomato we had ever seen.  We were very excited to cut this up and share this fresh from the garden plus travel.  The Tomato was sitting on the counter top waiting for me to cut it up.  When I turn to grab it...it's missing.  I can't find it anywhere.  As I get closer to the dinning room I hear this "Oh yumyumyum, Oh yumyumyum".  I look under the table and there is Karl devouring my Tomato!  He was in pure ecstasy with this tomato.  There was no way we could take it away from him.  So we put him in his high chair and let him eat away.  He ate almost half of it before he hit full!
